The Red Wheelbarrow

This poem by William Carlos Williams was quite interesting and not to mention, very short indeed. I had an image in my head of the actual wheelbarrow on the field, either getting soaked because of the rain or being wet from a wash by the farmer, with the white chickens nearby picking at the ground for food. The poem showed how important the wheelbarrow is by just a few words..."so much depends upon...." The wheelbarrow can do so much to help with the farmland and carrying vegetables that feed people. Without this wheelbarrow, how will we get vegetables fast enough?! How would things be moved from one place to another as well? Things cant move on their own, so we would end up carrying whatever we have to carry, that means a double trip for us since we can only carry so much. And lets not forget the white chickens; even though they didnt do much, they were quite the audience.
